About Me

Hi there! My name is Chuma S. Okoro. I'm a native New Yorker with Nigerian ancestry. Currently I spend most of my time working with Bloomberg as a Senior Software Engineer. In addition to this, I am continuing my education in the evening at the Zicklin School of Business to get my MBA. When I'm not doing all of that, I'm probably biking around NYC, doing brunch, writing for my blog, or tinkering with this cool app I built podrank.co.

I discovered my passion for technology, as early as middle school when I got my first computer for homework (aka games/anime). From there, I decided to attend Brooklyn Technical High School. Here I discovered my second passion for football and developed my STEM education. After graduating, I went to Brooklyn College to acquire my B.S. in Computer Science. When I was in school, I engaged in the following activities outside of class: sneaker reselling, internships, e-board for BSU, e-board for Radio Station Club, hackathons, and more. Upon completing school, I entered the technology industry as a Software Engineer.

Thank you and please consider following me on Medium if you gained any value out of my writing.

Note: ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN. Nothing on this blog is a reflection of Bloomberg's opinion on anything.
